Rummoli/Cards/Whist

Sewing 101
The sewing 101 class is a beginner's sewing class and our instructor is Karen McKinnon. This class helps you to become comfortable with your sewing machine. If you are just exploring sewing and you don’t yet have a sewing machine you can use the machine available at the Centre.
Swedish Weaving
Swedish weaving is a form of embroidery that blends a bit of surface embroidery with weaving. But like with counted cross-stitch once you learn to follow a pattern or chart, the process is quite easy. Edythe Howard is our instructor and the beginner project can be purchased for $20. The beginner project included needle, pattern, wool, and monks cloth for a table runner.
Quilting
Quilting is a drop-in program open to members. Courses are available and you’re able to bring your sewing machine or you will be able (after some training ) to use a variety of machines, including a long-arm for large projects. Register at the Schreiber Public Library 824-2477.
