The Township of Schreiber is currently seeking a Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) / Clerk. Reporting directly to Mayor and Council, the CAO/Clerk provides vision, strategic and inclusive leadership to the entire organization. Schreiber is located on the North Shore of Lake Superior, along Highway 17 in Ontario and just 2.5 hours east of Thunder Bay. The CAO/Clerk will be responsible for the efficient and effective administration and leadership of all departments and resources of the Township. As the CAO/Clerk, the candidate should possess a thorough knowledge of governance, municipal law, applicable provincial and federal legislation, labour relations, finance, and project management. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional communication skills, political acumen, and the ability to foster partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
Salary to be negotiated at $85,000-$100,000 per annum. The Township offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
