Please take notice that the Council for The Corporation of the Township of Schreiber, sitting as Committee of the Whole, will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, January 30th, at 6:30 p.m., at the Council Chambers located at 204 Alberta Street, Schreiber, and broadcast on You Tube, to consider an application to sever property located at 206 Walker Street, submitted under Section 34 of the Planning Act.
Recommendations from the Public Meeting will be forwarded to the Township Council for approval at its regular Council Meeting on February 13, 2024.

The subject property is legally described as:
Lot 34, Plan M-115, Township of Schreiber
and is municipally known as “206 Walker Street, Schreiber”.
The owners of the subject property, Peter and Mary Speziale, are the applicants. The purpose of the severance is to transfer a portion of Lot 34 206 Walker Street) as an addition to Lot 35 (208 Walker Street). This corrects a title issue relating to the construction of the residence at 208 Walker Street, which traverses the existing property line. Adjusting the property line will address this title issue.

ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting (virtually or in person) and/or make written or verbal presentations either in support of, or in opposition to, the proposed re-zoning. If a person or public body that files an appeal of a decision of the Township Council in respect of the application does not make written submissions to the Council before it makes its decision regarding the application, the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal may dismiss the appeal.
Written submissions can be forwarded to the CAO/Clerk for the Township, using the contact information below. Submissions by regular letter-mail, facsimile, electronic mail or personal delivery are accepted, however, the onus is on the person submitting the information (by whatever means) to make sure that it was actually received.
