CP Holiday Train — Coming To Schreiber December 2, 2018Posted on November 6, 2018
The CP Holiday Train will be making its annual stop in Schreiber on December 2, 2018! The Train is set to arrive in Schreiber at 2:45 pm will be stopped alongside Cenotaph Park beside the North Shore Harvest Food Cupboard until 3:30 pm! Some of the Performers include Terri Clark and the Sam Roberts Band!
“The Holiday Train program is all about local food banks and food shelves and the critical role they play in our communities,” said Keith Creel, CP’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “People come for the beautifully-lit train and stay for the incredible show – all in the name of community. The holiday season is the best time of the year, and we look forward to bringing together thousands of Canadians and Americans this season for this incredibly important cause and a great time”. The CP Holiday Train program launched in 1999 and has since raised more than C$14.5 million and 4.3 million pounds of food for communities along CP’s routes in Canada and the United States.
The 2018 edition of the Holiday Train marks the 20th year of the Holiday Train and to celebrate, 20 festive songs by artists that have toured on the train will be released.
The Township of Schreiber encourages all community residents to bring non-parishable donations to the CP Holiday Train in Schreiber in support of the North Shore Harvest Food Cupboard!
